Like about 85 percent of the populace, I only know the shorthand version of "Cyrano de Bergerac": Guy with long nose helps friend woo woman who big nose really desires, feeding other guy lines while she's on balcony.
(That and the 1987 Steve Martin movie "Roxanne," which contains a sliver of Edmond Rostand's original storyline.)

Immediately after the Friday, May 14th production, a post-show discussion focusing on the specific topics relevant both to the play being produced and to the audience viewing it. The discussions feature the director and cast of the production fielding questions and comments from audience members.
We are unable to accept reservations and tickets are only available at the door.
Cyrano de Bergerac will be presented in the District of Rock Island at 1616 2nd Avenue. Doors open at 7:30 PM., curtain at 8:00 PM.—except on May 16th , when doors open at 1:30PM, with curtain at 2:00PM. . Tickets are $8 and are available only at the door. Our program will include a performance of Cyclops by Euripides -- the only known recorded Ancient Greek Satyr play, at which you'll laugh as much as you cried at Euripides' Trojan Women this previous Spring. We'll also treat you to a dramatic staging of Alfred Lord Tennyson's poem Ulysses.
Prenzie Players Holding Final Round of Auditions for Season 8!!

Men and women in a wide variety of body shapes and ages are needed. Any level of stage experience is welcome! You need only show up ready to read from the texts we will be performing.
Prenzie Players Announce 2009 Twelfth Night Gala Fundraiser

The event will be held at The Village Theatre (formerly Turner Hall) in the Village of East Davenport, 2113 E. 11th Street Davenport, Iowa. A silent auction will held throughout the evening as well as a scenes, enacted poetry and live music.
Tickets are $15 per person; this includes hors d'oeuvres and drinks.
